MITCHY SLICK-STEADY HIT


Biography Slick grew up in the Lincoln Park community of the Encanto neighborhoods in Southeast San Diego. He lived briefly in Lubbock, Texas, and had attended college in Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas.[1] Aside from his status as an established West Coast underground hip hop solo artist,[citation needed] he is also a member of the group Strong Arm Steady. [edit] Career Slick’s first solo album was released in 2001 and was titled Triggeration Station. He also put out a few mixtapes with Krondon, Planet Asia and other West Coast artists, after which Krondon got Xzibit, Phil Da Agony, and Mitchy Slick to join Strong Arm Steady.[citation needed] He was featured with Strong Arm Steady on Xzibit’s 2004 album Weapons of Mass Destruction. Since then Slick has released three more solo albums, a collaborative album with Bay Area rapper Messy Marv titled Messy Slick, and Strong Arm Steady’s debut album Deep Hearted, which was released in 2007.
